What's your true and outmost honest opinions on the name. I like it but I want fead back please...

Ellie for short (I know I'll probably get comments on how Ellie is not a nickname for Melanie but I do not like Mel or Melly I think it looks off no offense to anyone with the name or has a child with the name) and just a disclaimer if there are rude comments just know this is my liking not everyone has to like others name choices
