How long is to long?

How long have u been trying to get pregnant? Or how long did it take you to get pregnant?

It took us 42 months. There were times we gave up because nothing was working but here we are 9 weeks pregnant! I had pcos and endometriosis while he had low and slow sperm count.

Our daughter wasn't planned, she is 7 years old. We have been ttc for 19 months now.

My hubby and I have been talking about it since our son turned 2..he's now almost 5 and our daughter 7.  We got pregnant quickly with the other two, but only been TTC for #3 for a few months...we just got on this road.  
I don't think it matters how long you try as long as you give yourself mental breaks and never loose hope.
