Both of our mother's have died (mine - 7 years ago when I was 24 and his just a few months ago). The other day he told me he was thinking of girls names... Wanting Pamela (his mom) Ellen (my mom). I couldn't help but feel angry that he put my mom as the middle name. We had a miscarriage in November and originally it was going to be Ellen Elizabeth ( as his mom was still alive). I told him that I don't want to make either person upset with the way the name is and we should just scratch both mother names and go with none family ones. Truth be told.... I didn't care for my MIL and would seriously HATE having her name as my child's first name. Is there anything wrong with fighting for my mom's name first. I k ow his mother was important and I would have it as the middle name.... But... I figure my mom died first... Lol. I win. Plus... As a girl, I miss my momma and this would be so nice to do. Am I being too selfish????
