Is it hard having your spouse in the army etc? How does that whole situation work?

Yes it was very hard when he went on deployment I stayed behind. When we moved around we went with him or if he went to the field for training he wasnt allowed to have a phone it was really hard i missed my husband all the time at holidays he wasnt with us he was in iraq. But at the same time i knew my husband was serving his country.

Yes it's hard. You spend a lot of time apart. You need to have a lot of trust and a strong relationship. Pretty much know at any moment your SO could up and leave and be gone for a long time. A lot of relationships fail because the military always comes first and it's hard to deal with that sometimes. It's a rough lifestyle but comes with many rewards as well.
