Does anyone have any techniques for applying a pretty eye shadow???

I always start by using my foundation on my eyelids too. I even use the pressed powders and cream foundations. I also use baby powder as a finish for my fave it makes a great primer. Start with the lightest color and cover your lid, especially so across your lash line. Take the medium shade and sweep it across your upper lid and with the darkest shade, start at the corner of your eye and shade it into an oval. When you're done take a clean brush and sweep the colors from light to dark for blending!

Definitely good brushes! Consider wetting brush to get high intensity pigmentation. If you are applying to your lids, patting motions are better than windshield wiper motions.

The brush makes a difference. My favorite are my bh cosmetics brush. Blending is key too. I'm still practicing on my blending. Also knowing your eye shape. I have hooded eyes so doing a cut crease on me is a waste of time. YouTube tutorials are also key along with good primer

My go to is always a light taupe/pink all over, white on the brow bone and in the corner of the eye, and then a light brown or darker pink (or something of the sort) in the crease! ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure to blend it really well!! Use your fingers even !

Sometimes as an extra I like to line my lower lash line with sparkly gold eyeshadow 😋 I love the look, it makes me feel pretty, and I always get compliments on it when I do it!
