Late but no BFP??

I've been tracking my period for a couple of years now through this app. I'm never late. I am now two days late and I've taken a pregnancy test both days and both have been negative. Has this happened to anyone else where it actually turned out to be a pregnancy? I'm crossing my fingers (but obviously not holding out hope! Lol)
