My boyfriend made a comment yesterday about me not needing him during sex, because, depending on the position we're in, I'll stimulate myself to help get off. He said it was a joke, but I worry there's some truth to it.

It's something I've always done because my ex, who I lost my virginity to, encouraged it. None of the guys I've slept with since have ever mentioned anything about it. He's been with more people than I have, and I find it hard to believe that none of the women he slept with did, but who knows.

We talked about it, and I explained that it's hard to get off without clit stimulation, and that's not saying that what he's doing isn't helping... because it definitely does. :) Our sex life is awesome, but I don't want him to feel like he's not doing anything for me. I think we're on the same page now.

But this whole thing has me wondering... Do you ladies touch yourselves during sex, or is that not as common as I thought? And if you do, has a man ever seemed offended by that?
