Late period, negative pregnancy test.

Okay so yesterday I took a pregnancy test & it was negative. My boyfriend & I had sex on March 12, with condom & I'm also on the pill but I had forgot to take my pill for two days, I don't remember exactly when I forgot I just know that I did skip two days without taking the pill. My period should of started on the 16th. Now I'm 7 days late. Could I be pregnant ? The pregnancy test yesterday said negative but I have no signs of my period coming. I've read stories about how girls have gotten negative test but a couple of weeks later they tested positive. & I've also read how you can also skip a period because of other reasons. I'm not sure what to do or think. Please comment .
