Ever Had This Happen?

We're newlyweds, a month in. Enjoying each other regularly. But some nights, for whatever reason, we're going at it and he is clearly enjoying, and then he goes soft. He is very sure he didn't finish... but he just loses the erection. Happened again tonight.. maybe the 3rd time so far.

He mentioned earlier that he noticed after going to the bathroom that he was dehydrated, so maybe it's just that? Anyone have the same issue? He's a heavy guy so that may also play a factor... but other nights have gone just fine.

My guy definitely feels like if he's dehydrated it's more difficult to keep an erection and/or to finish.

Alcohol consumption can mess it up too. And that really stinks because, before I became pregnant, we'd go out, have dinner, get some drinks and that always put me in the mood so bad to have a little buzz on. But I knew not to ask because he'd be too soft.

Dehydration or low blood pressure issue (or dehydration causing the low BP) encourage more liquid intake. My husband can drink 2 gallons a day if he wants during the summer and we've never had that happen. Stay hydrated. You too :)

My husband and I have been dealing with the same issue this last month. My husband isn't really heavy but he IS over weight. Their weight very wel could have something to do with their going soft. However I did read that if a man has erections during the night and in the morning when they get up most likely nothing is wrong. My husband is going to the doctor in May (that's when they could get him in) and he's going to ask about it. It's an annoying issue for us being we are ttc.

This happens to my SO too.  Usually it's just because he's too tired.
