Birth control?

Question

Any of you ladies already planning on what birth control method you will use after you give birth, if you plan on using any? Its a first for me so I am not sure when to get on it or which method is better.

I'm trying to figure that out myself! I'll also be breastfeeding and don't wanna mess with my supply, but I also do NOT wanna risk getting pregnant again until I'm ready. Probably an IUD again (had one before), but still undecided.

I absolutely hate hormone based birth control. And condoms. So my only choice would be an IUD but I want my kids close together anyways so I'm not going to get on birth control after the baby. After baby number 2 I'm planning on having my tubes tied or my husband getting a vasectomy but if we aren't completely sure we're done at that point I'll just get an IUD since there's no hormones.

I'm still thinking about which method to use if any at all. I was planning on talking to my husband about the one that does in the arm for 3 years

I forgot to mention I will be breastfeeding, are there any birth controls that might not be good for the milk

Well birth control is daily so if you forget easily than I say get the arm birth control but the pills work great and you can take it anytime after birth

I'm not using anything until I stop breastfeeding but then I'm going to use the nuva ring because it worked best for me

What a great question! My hubby and I were just talking about this last night! I'm only 10 weeks 3 days but I'll be darned if I'm not prepared after baby comes lol.

My OB asked me at our first appt... I was a little confused. But I get it now. The same thing we did before we decided to have a baby. it works for us.
