Sippy cups?

Anyone thinking of introducing LO to a sippy cup at 6 months and if so what brand/type?  I didn't know you could do it already but a few mom friends have encouraged me to start thinking about it.

Milk is for a bottle and juices for a sippy. Make sure they know and don't give in to giving them juice in a bottle. If they really want it they will drink it from a sippy cup. I stared both of my girls on sippy cups when they started solids.

Try the Dr Brown's. You can get a really good one for the 6 mo mark that has a lid that pops up. They aren't messy. I also have a rimless sippy with handles that says it is dentist-approved, but I can't recall the name...I'm sorry :(

I've got a few sippy cups. Found my LO got on better with ones without a handle just small tumblers she could hold. But I don't want to give her juice yet so once she realises its water not milk she soon stops 😄

I'll probably introduce it when I do solids at 6 months.  I don't plan to do a lot with juice, and I don't want to put milk in it until 1 year, so we will just use water.  I also plan to use the soppy cups with the spill proof brim, or ones with a straw.

Following.. I read something about starting them at 6 mths to ween off a bottle, get them used to a cup and also something to do with when they start getting teeth? I was thinking about getting one just to see if she'd take it 😁
