When my husband and I have unprotected sex and he ejaculates, my vaginal cavity immediately begins to burn and this sensation lasts 10-20 minutes. It's not unbearable but it's uncomfortable. Occasionally the sensation has a itch to it but not often. We read about allergies to semen and during the next occasion, he pulled out onto my stomach to see if it would irritate my external skin. It didn't. Nada, whoever my vagina didn't burn so that was a sign it connected back to the seminal fluid being inside. So of course, we thought it could be micro tears in my vaginal walls that react to the naturally acidic quality of semen but with natural lube and foreplay it's still occurring. On top of all of this, we aren't successful with TTC yet and while we haven't been at it for 2 years yet, I am concerned it may be affecting our ability to conceive of my body is indeed fighting against his sperm. I know going to my doctor is the best option and I plan to but I'd love to hear from anyone who experiences the same situation and if they have any other suggestions.
