Ovulation Pain

What does ovulation pain usually feel like? I got a shooting pain in the right side of my pelvic area this morning that lasted a few minutes and now I just have a dull pain there. 
​My BBT dropped this morning and my CM has started to look like eg whites so I think I'm ovulating but just wanted to ask.

​I don't do ovulation tests. Not this cycle at least.
