Also if I choose this name, how do I get around ppl calling him Al?

I knew twins named Alden and belden.  I would Nick name him all instead of al...makes sense because of pronunciation

People will call him Al whether you like it or not. He may even shorten it himself later on. My mother used to insist on calling me by my full name, by 10 I was Caz, now if someone calls me by my full name I tell them 'only my mother calls me that'! Lol I even tell the doctors!

Correct people if they say "Al" then when he gets older he will too! I was afraid people would call my son (Dylan) "Dill" when they did I corrected and now (he's 5) he does too!!
