Promethazine?

Question

Does anyone else take promethazine (generic for phenergan) and feel dead for hours? I take it only when I absolutely have to because I sleep for hours and when I finally do wake up I still feel like the walking dead for hours.

Inwas just prescribed this and am hesitant to take it just because I know in the pass zofran would knock me out and i dont want to go to sleep so if i need it i will jus cut in half i guess thanks for input ladys

Yes! I stopped taking it. I felt like a zombie and would get horrible dry mouth. I think I will just try and ride out the morning sickness lol

Benadryl jeeps and doesn't do that as bad

I used to take this every night I was prescribed 50 mg tablets I could take 1/4 without throwing up and passing out, even then the room was spinning and I had to have one leg out of bed touching the floor 😂

I take it and reported the same thing cut the pill. I was given 25 mg tablet I cut it into quaters at first now if I need to I take a half and it helps a ton and doesn't knock me out.
