I’ve work with him since November 2017 (my first appt) and had an exam, transvaginal ultrasound, and plan set to treat my endometriosis. Had to make a second appt for December to discuss blood work results and do saline ultrasound (3D) and had surgery and all post op appt’s scheduled that day. Had surgery 01/04/2017 and he was with me the whole time even when they were putting me to sleep stayed in the room and kept his hand on my shoulder and talked to me. Reviewed what he found (on video) and seemed like it would work. Also stated that once I had my first missed period to take a test if it positive they will do blood work to confirm and an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok before sending me back to my regular OB. He is very hands on with his patients, he gets to the point and doesn’t waste time with small talk (which I like as I’m impatient and trying to accomplish something). His staff is amazing, I always hear something same day if I call or email. I’ve recommended him to everyone I know that’s considered seeing a fertility specialist.

The doc is informative but is a little rushed and seems more like a introvert. The nurses are friendly and gentle, but I'm concerned because after they ORDERED AND ME taking dye test and (blood) ovarian reserve test, cycle of Clomid, trigger shot and progesterone and not getting pregnant I called to try again. BUT the secretary told me to pay the network my old balance from like 6 years ago first to continue. BUT why let me do all that then discontinue with treatment for something that was on my record from 6 years earlier ? This is a emotional time and should be dealt with different.

Staff in his clinic is lovely. His bedside manner is a bit cold. Always in a hurry. Doesn't have time to answer or explain things in detail. If it wasn't for his nurses I would have switched to a new dr.

Dr Carnovale is very knowledgeable and will explain anything you need to know if you ask him.

He was patient. Did not make me feel uncomfortable during the times I cried, laughed, etc. He was very knowledgeable and explained the diagnoses, plan of care, and process in detail and in a way that was easy to understand.

Easy to communicate with. Take the time to explain everything clearly. Saw at every appointment and spent the time to make sure I understood everything.
