Can my partner track my Cycle with Eve?

Currently, there is no partner function for Eve, however, Eve can be accessed through multiple devices!

Is Eve just for women?

Eve is for any and all who have a period, a sex life, and/or a hormone cycle! Eve can be tailored to suit your needs whether you're here to track your period or keep track of cycle symptoms!

What is a gem?

Gems are bite sized articles that refresh daily with new tidbits of fun information! Browse through and see which topics catch your eye! The more gems you collect, the more material you'll have to read each day.

What’s Eve by Glow?

Eve by Glow is a savvy sex and health app for taking control of your cycles and sex life. It features an anytime log for recording sex and health, and interactive cycle viewer, visualized data for detecting cycle trends, and trusted information on hot, safe sex. To top it all off, Eve's epic community is an extended friend group that talks about everything: orgasms, sex toys, masturbation, relationships. This is not your mom’s app. Get it, girl.

Where did my cycle visual go in the latest update of Eve?

Just click your first daily gem and it'll take you to your cycle view!

Is Eve available on Android?

Yes, yes, yes! You can download it here!

How do I edit my period on Eve?

You can edit your current or past periods at anytime by clicking the Period button on the upper righthand corner of your home page ("Edit Period" if you're all signed up on Android) or by clicking your first Daily Gem and then clicking "Calendar View" at the center of your cycle visual.

Simply tap on a red period to edit or delete it or tap on other days to add new cycles. To edit a period, tap on it and then drag the blue circles around until the start and end dates are correct and click “Save” on the upper right. To delete a period, tap on it and then click the “Delete” button on the upper left.

Please note that the lighter cycles in the future are your period predictions and cannot be edited. But they will automatically update if your period starts earlier or later than expected.

Can I add logs for previous days on Eve?

Yes! Each time you add a log, you'll have the opportunity to change the date and time of that log when you save it.

How can I edit/delete a log on Eve?

Tap and hold on any log you'd like to Edit or Delete. A window will pop up that will allow you to edit the date and time of the log or remove it all together.

On Eve iOS, you can also swipe left on an log and click either "Edit" or "Delete". You can also edit/delete a bunch of logs by tapping on the "Trends" button and then clicking "Edit" in the upper right corner. Then, click on the times to change them or click on the delete icon on the left of the log you'd like to remove.

What's the deal with “Banana Free” and “All me”?

"Banana Free" is our fun way of saying penis-free sex or non-penetrative sex between two gals.

"All me" means you got it on without a partner, so it's code for masturbation :)

What do you mean by "I'm down" and "MIA" in the Sex drive section of the log?

"I'm down" means that you're interested in having sex, perhaps feeling a little flirty or frisky.

"MIA" stands for "Missing in Action" and it means you have absolutely no sex drive. You'd rather Netflix and chill but like literally...

What do the red and green days represent on my cycle in Eve?

The red days on your cycle represent your period days.

The green days on your cycle represent your fertile window. This is the window around your predicted ovulation day when your chances of getting pregnant are highest. Make sure to take extra precaution on these days.

Why can’t I see my fertile window on Eve?

Eve does not display fertile windows for users on certain birth control methods.

For example, if you're on the pill, the hormones you're ingesting are preventing you from ovulating, so you technically do not have a fertile window. This is why we remove the fertility information from the calendar view and do not send you notifications about it.

How can I see when my next period will start on Eve?

You can see your predicted, future periods by clicking the “Calendar view” button at the center of your cycle on the Home page. They’re the lighter cycles later on in the calendar.

I entered my last period and/or cycle length incorrectly when I set up Eve. How do I change it?

You can edit your past periods at anytime by clicking the Period button on the upper righthand corner of your home page ("Edit Period" if you're all signed up on Android) or by clicking your first Daily Gem and then clicking "Calendar View" at the center of your cycle visual.

Simply tap on a red period to edit or delete it or tap on other days to add new cycles. To edit a period, tap on it and then drag the blue circles around until the start and end dates are correct and click “Save” on the upper right. To delete a period, tap on it and then click the “Delete” button on the upper left on iOS or the Trash icon on the upper right on Android.

To edit your cycle length in Eve, you'll need to sign up for the app and then go to your Me page (the person icon on Android) > Health Profile to edit your cycle length. However, please note that this value is only used to predict your first cycle. After that, Eve will predict your periods for you based on your past periods.

Can I set a passcode for Eve?

Yes, Eve can keep a secret ;) First, sign up. Then, you'll be able to set a passcode from within your Me page > Settings.

Heads up: this feature is only available on Eve iOS at the moment.

Where did the Sex Quizzes go?

Girl, you took them all! We're actively working on adding more quizzes, though, so keep checking back in!

Will you be adding more feelings and symptoms to Eve soon?

Yes! Stay tuned :)

I keep getting alerts to sign up for Eve. Why should I?

Why shouldn’t you?! Signing up for Eve empowers you to...

1) Securely backup your periods and logs in our servers, so you can safely delete and/or reinstall the app or login from multiple devices. Otherwise, you’re at risk of losing your data if the unthinkable happens (your phone is damaged, lost, or ...eek! we’ll stop there).

2) Participate in Glow Community! Once you sign up, you can participate in polls and view the results, create your own posts, comment and like and bookmark other posts, follow other members of Glow Community, and create your own personalized profile to gain followers yourself :)

3) Set a passcode to protect your account (iOS only). Eve can keep a secret ;)

What’s Eve's Community all about? Is it just for Eve users? Why is it called “Glow Community”?

Eve's epic community is an extended friend group that talks about everything: orgasms, sex toys, masturbation, relationships. It’s next level girl talk.

We’ve created a few rooms just for Eve women:
>>Love & Sex
>>Health & Lifestyle
>>Sexplanations*

The other rooms are shared with the rest of Glow Community, which includes Glow ovulation tracker users as well as Glow Nurture users.

*Sexplanations is an extra special room. It’s the place to go for answers about all things Sex. Some sexplanations will come from legit organizations. The first super legit org we’re working with is Bedsider--a nonprofit devoted to helping you have a healthy, happy sex life without worrying about unplanned pregnancy. Sexplanations from other orgs and medical professionals are coming soon. And in the meantime, the Community’s got your back.

I want to learn more about Birth Control methods on Eve. How can I?

We’ve got you covered. Check out our Birth Control: The Scoop guide on your Me page (the tab on the lower right corner of the app). It’s full of trusted content from Bedsider--a nonprofit devoted to helping you have a healthy, happy sex life without worrying about unplanned pregnancy.

You can also ask other Eve users all your Birth Control questions in Glow Community after signing up!

I’ve changed my Birth Control method. How do I tell Eve?

First, you'll need to sign up for the app. Then, you'll be able to see a Health Profile on your Me page (the person icon at the top middle on Android). Click that to go in and change your Birth Control method.

You may notice that your fertile window is no longer displayed after you do so. That's because Eve does not display fertile windows for users on certain birth control methods.

For example, if you're on the pill, the hormones you're ingesting are preventing you from ovulating, so you technically do not have a fertile window. This is why we remove the fertility information from the calendar view and do not send you notifications about it.

Can I import data from my other health apps into Eve?

Yes, yes, yes! You can import your Sleep, Step, and Walking + Running Distance data from the Apple Health app (iOS only). Turn on this feature on your Me page to see this data appear in your Feed!

I’m currently a Glow user, but I’m not trying to get pregnant. Is Eve a better fit for me?

It's up to you! If you’re looking for fast and easy sex and health logging, simplified period tracking, cycle trend detection and great content on Sex and Birth Control, Eve is right for you.

If you’d prefer a more comprehensive log for pinpointing your fertile window (i.e. practicing Fertility Awareness Methods or learning about your fertility) and/or tracking other components of your health, such as weight and exercise, Glow may be a better fit.

How can I change the language of my Eve app?

Eve iOS will default to the language you use on your phone, as specified in your phone settings. However, you can change the language in the app within your Me page > Language section as well. The available languages include Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). Note that Eve Android is currently only available in English and Glow Community is only available within the English version of Eve.

Is the Eve app different than the Ruby app?

Nope, it’s all the good stuff that was in Ruby and more. We just changed the name!
