Help a first time mom

my 7 week old baby is feeding constantly and seems to have struggles pooping. i am exclusively breastfeeding and am at a loss. i know that babies have to start using their muscles to poop at 6 weeks and so far i know a way to help him and he will sleep for 7 hours at night but it’s a struggle during the day. he fights naps and then he gets overtired. any advice would be appreciated.

@GlowGPT please help me with this topic!

She’s here!

It’s been a busy two months. But my sweet little sugar baby was born on October 30th. I was induced on the 29th. And after 32 hours of labor, one epidural and flying cowgirl pose later, she was born. She was 19.5 inches long, 7 pounds and 4 ounces. I truly am blessed. 🥰

Spit up and discomfort after thawed milk

I have been as freezing pumped milk since wk1 for building stash for later. I made my 3wk old try one bottle of thawed milk. While he consumed it without any issues later that day he had a lot of gas discomfort and extra spit up. Could it be due to the thawed milk. The color , smell and taste were fine

Triple feeding

My 2week old is breastfeeding for 20-30 mins plus at a time and still not feeling satisfied. I am having to triple feed each time with breast then pump and bottle at least another ounce. Going crazy thinking of going to exclusive pumping but worried will I miss true benefits of breastfeeding.. Should I still keep some sessions. Any momma's got advice?

They go through a growth spurt I was told around this time and may see an increase in cluster feeding. My 2 week old is currently doing this. The last few days I feel like she’s just been latched all day🤣🤣 I do pump as well because I’m over producing and I’m uncomfortable and will top up with a bottle here and there

Turkey Baby!! Girl #4!

Baby girl number 4 came on Thanksgiving morning after 14 hours of labor one day before her due date! Everyone is ecstatic except the youngest that became a middle child 🤣

Re

You look fab!! hope all went well. I’m being induced tomorrow and can’t wait xx

Ameelah 💖

Baby Ameelah made her appearance 11/14 @ 7:09pm (Due 11/24). She weighed 6lbs 8oz 19 in & came on her own at 38 weeks even though I was scheduled to be induced that following Sunday on 11/17. I started having contractions that picked up in intensity on 11/13. I labored throughout the night and part of the next day before finally going to the emergency OB department and that’s when they checked me and told me I was at 5-6 centimeters and they were admitting me. That was around 1pm. Labor progressed quickly from there with the help of a little pitocin. My water broke on its own and from there labor progressed so quickly that my sisters and daughter got there right after she was born so they missed the birth but it was soooo quick and smooth. I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything in the world. Her siblings at home have welcomed her with open arms and we are just soooo in love. 🩷 Wishing all the mamas still pregnant and safe labor, delivery and smooth recovery & congrats to the mamas who have already brought their little blessings earthside. ❤️

Congratulations 🎉 I had my son on 11/15 at 12:15am. More of a traumatic birth but I’m in love nonetheless.

My Baby Boy Arrived on 11/11!!!🥹🩵

My beautiful baby boy was born at 41weeks on 11/11 (truly a wish come true) at 2:06am, 8lbs 1oz. Membrane sweep done at 40 weeks 2 days, went into labor 3 days later at 4:00am, ended up laboring at home with irregular contractions for a total of 48hrs before birth. Was bouncing on my yoga ball, smelling lavender oil playing spa music waiting for my water to break and finally went to the hospital after my contractions were about 5-10 minutes apart and the pain was getting worse. Found out my water did break, but was only a slow trickle due to baby’s head blocking the hole. Doctor broke water himself a few hrs before delivery. Received a small amount of Pitocin to help with dilation. Was 9cm dilated when I started to push for about 30-40 minutes, baby was born vaginally with only 2 small tears that didn’t need stitching. So very blessed overall for a great medical team, a smooth and easy delivery & more importantly a healthy baby boy. So many prayers from friends and family, the power of prayer is real & God is so good all the time!!!!🥹😍❤️🥰🙌🏼

Induction never was actually scheduled

I was told 3 weeks ago I was set for an induction this morning and when I called the hospital as instructed it turns out I was never put on their schedule. After having everyone request off work (grandparents for my other kids and my partners) I basically got told "go f yourself nothing we can do about it hope baby comes soon" even though it was their mistake. I have gestational diabetes and at 37 weeks her tummy measured 70th percentile already. I'm worried about her getting stuck and me having a C-section anyways which is the only thing I want to avoid. Birth plan: epidural, avoid C-section. That's it. I feel SO defeated and powerless. I had a membrane sweep on Friday at exactly 39 weeks. Been losing mucus plug like crazy since then yet nothing else progresses labor. What else can I do? My past 3 came at 39 weeks exactly but this one is proving she's more stubborn than the rest. I've done sex, hot showers, pineapple, spicy food, bouncing on a ball, getting up and off my feet and being active. I'm about to try the miles circuit and a hot shower.

I’m so sorry this happened to you! I would make a formal complaint as well. I had an OB tell me oh yeah we tell you it’s scheduled then in actuality they wait til the last min to try and schedule but usually fails. I had to push for an induction at 39 weeks, but my baby decided to come at 38 weeks instead. My labor had fizzed out and I was stuck at 5cm. They couldn’t send me home so I was put on pitocin. That didn’t work either because I only went to 6cm in several hours. They had to end up breaking my water then he was out within 40 min. I was in so much pain as they couldn’t get the epidural in time. I tried to tell the doctors I was having significant pubic pain and was written off. Come to find out I sustained a pubic separation and fracture.

Baby Theo🧸 Teddy is here

Baby has arrived!

Baby Forest was born 11/18/24 (40w4d), 8lbs 13oz, 21.3”. We went in for an induction and after laboring for 24 hours, stuck at 9cm, we found that baby was stuck in my pelvis (his body was head down but turned to the side like half sunny side up) and his heart wasn’t tolerating the position changes and pitocin well so we ended up in an emergency c section. It was terrifying but I’m so thankful he is safe and healthy and home ❤️ good luck to all the other mamas waiting on their snuggle bugs!

Comfy in Uterine Hotel

Who all has gone over their due date? I am due today (11/23), and the little guy doesn’t seem to want to come out! I’d like to have a spontaneous labor, but I’ve tried everything I can to dilate further and progress labor at home, and nothing works! What have you guys tried, and what has worked for you?
