I took a test when I was one day late and got a BFP. It all depends on your hcg levels but I just had a gut feeling. No one knows your body better than you!

I googled the ingredients and don't see any reason why it would be unsafe. Theres even a recipe for pandan cookies on a pregnancy food blog in my native language.

Does anyone recommend supplements for pregnancy?

I’m a month into pregnancy and I’m not sure what supplements I need to take? (It’s very difficult to get professional help at the moment because I have to wait for 10-12 weeks before I can be seen by a professional). I would be really appreciative of some advice from anyone’s experience? I understand that Folic acid is recommended, I have been pregnant only for a month so far and haven’t been taking anything.Thank you 😊

I take the ritual prenatal vitamins - they’ve been easier for me to keep down than other prenatals. Would recommend making sure whichever ones you choose have methyl folate (the active form of folate) as is easier to absorb and many people don’t convert folate into the active form.

Delaying “solid foods”

Is it normal to postpone offering purées and soft food I’m babies that were born premature? My sister had her baby on December 2023. His actual due date was the first week of February 2024. He is now almost 9 months and she still isn’t offering purées or anything like that. Only formal. Is this normal or something that others have dealt with? I’m not judging her or anything this is just the first time I have heard of postponing for this long. She said she isn’t planning to start purées for another couple of months because “He was born 2 months early, so he is delayed by 2 months” basically explaining how he should only be almost 7 months so she should only be treating him as a 7 month old.I do want to state there is nothing about this baby that would even suggest in the slightest that he was born prematurely. He has met and exceeded all of the medical health percentiles for a baby that was born at a normal gestation. His providers have all stated he is doing phenomenal all things considered.

My son was born early and had serve acid reflux, I delayed purées until he was 5.5 months old according to his due date and not when he was born. Same with introducing solids to him.

Take it from me! It’s very safe lol. As long as your doctor doesn’t tell you you’re high risk pregnancy then you are safe to do many positions. Obviously be careful if you feel pain from a certain position but if not, it’s safe!

Vaping while pregnant

Hi, I just found out I’m pregnant yesterday, I vape pretty heavily and I’m obviously going to quit but I have a question about it. Should I gradually quit or just cold turkey? I’ve heard that cold turkey can cause problems also and I’m not sure if that’s true or not so I just need some help/advice on what to do

I used to vape but quit cold turkey after I found out I was pregnancy it honestly was easier due to the fact the smell made me vomit after a couple of weeks. I recommend getting a flavor you know you dont like to curb the appetite.

No it won’t hurt the baby, if you’re not putting pressure that’s usually recommended but my ob said with all three of her kids she basically fell asleep with it on her tummy. I asked so many questions about it! Very good question to ask - not many think of it like that

You’re not going to be able to get pregnant while being underweight or unhealthy. There is a possibility but it’s very little. I’m by no means a doctor, though. You need to talk to a doctor about you being anemic and having all your other health problems. I know this may not be easy to deal with. I wish you the best!

I recently found out I had a small one after some spotting. My midwife said it can increase risk of miscarriage, but I had no idea it could rebleed!

Amoxicillin in the first trimester

I was recently prescribed amoxicillin for an infected wisdom tooth. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and I have been a little hesitant to take it because I’ve read that it is an increased risk for cleft palate when taken in the first trimester of pregnancy. So I thought I’d hop on here to get some opinions.
