So my MIL is battling brain cancer (glioblastoma) which at first we thought would be taken care of with surgery but actually learnt that’s it’s fast growing and very aggressive and could not all be taken out.

It started in October of 2019 with

- headaches

- a bit of memory loss

- and the wrong words coming out

She’s had two brain surgeries within a 2 weeks span, she’s had radiation once and chemo twice, the steroids and chemo have changed how she looks and the whole right side is weakened because of the steroids and not using those muscles.

We recently found out she had blood clots from her right kidney to her right knee.

&& that the chemo/ radiation has done jack shit to the Tumour.

The shit thing now is they have stoped all cancer treatments because they have decided it would be easier for the tumour to take over rather than her suffocate from a clot breaking off and logging into her lung.

So basically my MIL is dying in a matter of days not months now, Covid-19 has become more scary because I’d hate for her to catch that!!

She’s never going to see our daughter grow, she’ll never see us get married or see her future grandchildren which I can process yet as it’s too hard.

The worse thing is she’s thinks she going to get better, she doesn’t know what happening to her as this cancer is making her confused and it’s too upsetting for her to hear the bad news, she is always saying when this is over meaning the cancer😭

It’s awful it can be any day now 🤯

I miss how she was, she is like a second mum to me, I used to be able to talk to her about anything, now it’s hard for her to hold a conversation. She’s is so cute and sweet it’s hard that she’s going through this.
