My best friend and I had a pretty big argument today when I went to get my niece from school she called me panicking thinking that something had went wrong because her other friend said there was police at the school an hour earlier and my friend thought that something had happened to her daughter and that’s why they were there.

After I dropped her off I asked my friend why she didn’t trust me as this hasn’t been the first time that she constantly freaks out when I have my niece she constantly texts and asks about her and then multiple times an hour she’ll ask for photos of her which I don’t mind sending if we’re doing something like going to the park or going for a walk but I find it pointless to send photos if she’s just eating her dinner or watching tv and I completely understand this is anxiety as I also suffer from severe anxiety but it only hurts me and makes me feel like she doesn’t trust me as she doesn’t as her grandparents for photos when she’s with them she does send the odd how is she text but with me it’s constantly every 15 to 20 minutes she’ll text me and it stresses me out a lot as I constantly have to remember to bring my phone with me when I usually don’t carry it with me

It then escalated and she said she obviously does trust me as she asked me to mind my niece for 2 weeks and I’d get it if she’s wasn’t severally ill and slept 22 hours a day and I’m the 2 hours she was awake she would FaceTime and get photos of her constantly and I get that took a lot of trust but I feel that she let her come with me as she wouldn’t be able to get better with her there

She then said I was undermining her feelings as I said that I care about her the same way she cares about my niece and I get that that’s her daughter obviously we don’t have a daughter mother love but she’s the only person I care about immensely and the way she talks about feeing panic when she thinks something is wrong with her daughter is how I feel when she doesn’t respond to me but is active or I get a bad feeling about her

Now she won’t talk to me and I don’t know what to do
