2 years of nothing and I'm feeling sad

2 years ago today I had my last and only ever positive pregnancy test. After 10 days of excitement and fear, my little baby was gone to Heaven. The grief is hitting harder this year than last year. Last year, I knew the giant fibroid had been removed, my husband and I had been cleared to try again and I had just seen my very optimistic and encouraging OB. But another year has passed - of tracking my BBT, using ovulation tests, baby dancing at the right time. Herbs, supplements, cleaning up my diet ... And in addition to grieving the child that didn't make it and the life I would have had now if I had gotten a sticky baby then, I am also afraid that that was it. Perhaps it's just not going to happen for me. It's a painful thought and I'm not ready to give up. I'm just grieving and discouraged. So I'm posting to a bunch of strangers because it's safe and I expect y'all will understand.

I’m right there with you. It will be two years next month for me. I’m so sorry you’re feeling sad. I get sad each cycle with no BFP too. We’re all in this together and here to support one another. Vent away sister! You’re not alone and I know the frustration. I’m not giving up either (although some days I feel like I should for my own sanity). I will add you to my prayers for all of us struggling to conceive. Hang in there. I believe in miracles! 🙏❤️

Anything you took to help get pregnant

I am 41 and fiancé is 44 and we are trying for our second baby together. Is there anything any of you ladies took to help you get pregnant? I just had my first rainbow baby at age 38 and it was a complicated pregnancy due to some medical issues of my own but I'm not letting that stop me. My doctors said even with what I have going on medically that there is still a chance I'm just concerned about having the baby really early like the last one. I know it is all in God's hands though and Iam putting my faith in Him! Thank you for any responses to help!

Happened to me 3 times, third one was at 12 weeks. By God’s grace I eventually had my second child (LAST ivf egg) who’s now 8 y.o. She’s a sweetheart. 7 years between first and second child. Probably 6 or 7 MC total. I remember the journey was painful experience but faith kept me strong. I wish you best too. God is with you.

40 and trying for a baby

Hi All, I’m trying for baby #3, I was on depo injection and my last shot was 2023. I started to get my period in April 2024. However I it might take longer to get pregnant due to being on depo. Finally, I’m 3 days late today. My breast nipples are so sensitive. I don’t want to do a pregnancy test and then be disappointed. Any advice

It’s possible. I am 42 and currently pregnant. Track your ovulation, temp, healthy lifestyle (no alcohol, mild to moderate exercise, healthy food choices) and of course baby dance at the right time. Good luck🙏

Endometriosis and Submucosal Fibroid

I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis and a submucosal fibroid. Both could cause infertility. I’m 41 and just had my IUD removed. I’m not giving up hope for conceiving naturally. Has anyone else had good outcome with same diagnoses?

Is this the first time this has happened? Have you tested? It could be a wonky cycle, but also part of what happens during perimenopause, leading up to menopause. You can always check with your MD to test your hormone levels.

16 DPO positive test, digital test negative

I’m so confused! I’m 40 years old, I’ve had two successful pregnancies, and am not TTC our third but not preventing either. So I haven’t really been tracking my cycle, but if I had to guess I’d say I’m about 16 DPO.3 days ago I realized my period was late (I’m NEVER late), took a Wondfo test and got a faint line. I realized the tests expired several months ago, but from what I’ve read this would just mean I’d get an even darker line on one that isn’t expired. I took several more tests from the same box over the next two days and continued getting the faint line.Today I picked up a Clearblue digital test and it read “Not Pregnant”. But I still haven’t gotten my period and have other weird symptoms I don’t normally get before my period, like constipation and extreme bloating. Is it possible that it’s still too early for a positive digital result? Perhaps I didn’t ovulate when I thought I did? I also have an ovarian cyst which the doctor told me is harmless, but is it possible that it could have caused a false positive?

If you got your first faint positive 3 days ago. You would start seeing a progression in the darkness of the lines and a digital would be positive by now. Expired tests are more likely to give false negatives, but can give false positives too. It’s also possible you’re getting indents. You likely didn’t ovulate on time (pregnant or not) since you’re having negative tests and your period hasn’t started. If you continued to have sex, there’s a possibility you could still become pregnant this cycle.

What worked for you after 40? 🫶🏻

Just turned 41 after months of trying with no results. I’ve had spotting few days prior to periods but it ended up in periods a few days later. My ovulation also is later than the app predicts. What helped you in getting bfp in your 40s? Please share your suggestions or similar stories for solidarity. Love, hugs and positive vibes! 💕

in need of some love and support

sorry for the long post, ok so here the low down. we have been trying since 2021, in that time we've had 12 miss carriages (chemiclas, blighten ovium, missed misscarage)..... i got my ovulation peak on the 13th jan. nhs has me at 6 weeks because the first day of my last period was 24th december. going on my dates its more like 4-5 weeks. i got my first vvfl at 8dpo but it stayed faint and although my tests have gotten darker its been no where near the useal amount. i went for a scan today to check for an ectopic pregnacy but the result was inclusive as they could not find anything on the scan good or bad, technian said its more likely because im not as far along as they think i am. having my bloods done to test my levels to see where they are at. so good news is that it could still be a viable pregnacy as the lining on my utius is thick, if they can't find anything then im unlikely to rupture as now ill be monitored bad news is it could still be an ectopic or something else... any siliar experiences good or bad would be appreciated or even some words of love, in a bit of a bad place one minute ive convinced myself everythings ok and im going to be a mum again and the next all the worst possible outcomes.

Any news ?

Pregnant or Miscarriage Residual

Hi all, I’m in need of some help this morning. I am 45 and have been tic for almost 2 years. I miscarried the first week of January 2nd - 6th. I ovulated per test strips around the 21st. My doctor had me do a bhcg as a follow up for the miscarriage on the 28th and it was 1.68 which is negative. This morning February 2nd, I felt off and took a test and there was a light positive line so I followed it up with both a clear blue and a first response digital test and they both came back positive/yes +. Does anyone know if this is a residual from the miscarriage or if I could actually be pregnant again this soon. We were not trying to prevent pregnancy because we didn’t think it would happen again. Thanks in advance for any help.#11DPO

So it does mean your pregnant. They check after 3 weeks after a miscarriage to rule out molar pregnancy which is something completely different.

Could be, but looks more like period blood.

Promised myself I wouldn't do this...

...but here I am on the Glow app tracking my life 🙈😅 I am 43 (44 next month) with a 6 year old boy. Last time we weren't targeting and it took 6 months. This time again, it was a, 'let's see what happens' conversation too. I was initially here as I've had a Merina Coil since November 2022 which was removed on my boy's birthday earlier this month and i wanted to see if my body still worked! 😅 2 days after coil removed, AF arrived, ovulated a little bit later than before (CD16). Now in the TWW and I'm peeing on every stick available even though I'm only 8DPO! 🙈 I'm peeing more often, had mild cramps 2-3 days ago, boobs are getting bigger, dizzy, and my cervix is still high! I know I'm torturing myself again but jeez, why can't someone invent something to banish the TWW forever! 😅🤣🤣

BBT starts low, raise at ovulation (sometimes it take a few days after ovulation to raise). Then it stays high till just before period where it goes back at low OR stays high if you are pregnant. So what you are describing seems perfectly normal

Af is two days late

I see something but very faint for missed period. Are you sure about your ovulation date?

It Starts With the Egg?

Anyone read this and implemented the recommendations? I just purchased some targeted supplements based on the book and wondered if anyone else had an experience good or bad to share. Feeling every bit of my age of 41 and—as my doctor puts it—my “eggs are old.”
