Long story short my partner and his ex split up 5 years ago. They were trying for a while (not sure how long). But both above 35. So perhaps over 12 months ttc.

Anyway he said they went for tests and he got the all clear. Apparently she did too, but he never saw her results / paperwork and from what I gather, she hid and concealed a lot.

Anyway, I’ve read a few posts from girls saying their men were told sperm count good etc. But since changing GYN they’ve been told ‘mobility’ is low. ?? Do they not test for mobility as standard practice ??

Maybe this is what’s wrong?

Also is Clomid only for those below age 40??

I just think wow. Is this why we are maybe having trouble TTC?

I don’t want to put him through the fertility appointments again like in the past. His ex went into a deep depression and lots of drama along the way not being able to conceive.

Out time to conceive is even more against the clock than ever due to age. I have AF each month, ovu each month and gave had bloods tested.

They won’t do scans for me without a sample from him - but he’s old school and his ex put so much pressure on him.

I don’t say when I’m on my fertile week and don’t want to add pressure to the BD’ing. I take charge of it..

I’ve got him a male supplement - but the write ups say it can take 90 days for these to ‘support’ mobility.

The were affordable in my budget and help support reproduction. I started him on the 6 months ago and weaned off taking them. I felt they were a gimmick (his and hers supplement).. so not taken since and I’ve since sourced a new more affordable one.

Any advice / info appreciated
