I have been trying to write music for about 4 years, but kept forcing myself to put a melody with my lyrics. The songs always sounded amateur, but NO LONGER! This is officially my first ever written rap song! (Sorry if it sucks, I’m only 14.)

But my mind keeps on telling me

It’s all in my head

All this drama and feelings

I feel I’d rather be dead

Than to follow

Gotta stop

Before I start

This obsession

Leaves me faded

Just be jaded

You’re supposed to be grown up now

Not a kid anymore

Independent on love

So you aren’t left broken on the floor

Like those girls in the movies

That you hate and despise

The same girls and movies that leave

So many tears in your eyes

I don’t get it

I don’t want to

Mixed emotions

I got no clue

How to handle

All these thought

Running through my head at 1:22

At night

I can no longer fight

I’ll just take flight

Keep you out of sight

And out of mind

So you don’t find

I’m trying to see

When I’m this blind

But why should I care

You’re not even there

You’re never beside me

I’m moving too quickly

My thoughts are a blur

Even to me

It’s so hard to read

My own damn poetry

But I love the chaos

It makes me myself

Why bother with heaven

When this could be hell

For the love of MUSIC!
