It's hard being young and TTC. I am 18, 19 in November and I have been TTC since August 2015 with my boyfriend.

Wow. It feels crazy being honest. Usually I have to lie and say "my fiancé" or "my husband." Or I have to say I'm older or that I've been TTC for less time because if I don't then someone might be rude and tell me I'm too young and discredit that I'm still on an infertility journey. But today I feel like being honest because my journey is feeling particularly tough today.

I have been diagnosed with depression recently and a lot of it is a direct product of infertility. Having a child consumes my everyday life and it is all I think about. For years all I've wanted is to be a mommy.

I know I don't have to justify myself but we've been together for over 5 years, we both have good jobs, we are both out of HS, and we have a house together and we are very happy.

The only person I have in my life that I have talked to (semi) in depth about this journey is my boyfriend's mom. I have came here several times for advice and well wishes. Most of the time there are no comments. Other times it is the dreaded "just don't think about it" or "it will happen." Which don't get me wrong, I appreciate it- it's just that I've heard it so much.

I honestly have no idea where this post is going right now, I just had to vent a little. Boyfriend doesn't like talking about sad or negative things so I deal with this a lot on my own. I really need some friends who are going through the same thing.
