Possibly using a surrogate

Hi all! My husband and I are considering using a surrogate. We switch practices and we start our new practice in a few weeks. We had many mishaps with the previous place and found that they never tested my testosterone and it’s extremely low. I’ve had 6 pregnancy losses. We were thinking of using a surrogate at the same time we try with the new practice. We want a baby so badly and want to have it happen some way. How did your family react to you becoming a surrogate? It’s some thing that I would love to do but I am worried my friends and family will not understand.

I’m only 17 right now so I’m not able to become a surrogate yet. But I’ve really been thinking about it lately. I loved being pregnant and it’d be amazing being able to give someone a family. I mentioned it to my boyfriend and he wasn’t supportive of it AT ALL. Egg Donation

I need some advise from some mammas who are on either end...I have always had a desire to be a surrogate. Long story short I ended up having 2 miscarriages and an emergency C-section to have my rainbow baby. At this point I wouldn’t feel safe having a surrogate baby as much as I would love to give that gift to a family. Is there anyone who does probono surrogacy? Any experiences? I have ask so many of my friend and family and they have said yes until it has come.to the time when we are ready then they say no. My best friend and his husband have spoken to me about wanting a child in the future (the next 2 years) and have asked if I would ever consider being the surrogate for them. I have two healthy children of my own but my husband and I are done with having our own children and I 100% would be honored to help give this gift to my best friend. Has anyone ever used a surrogate or been a surrogate with no agency? You already knew the person. How did it go? Cost? Etc. my friend said she’d be a surrogate for me, however I don’t have the kind of money to pay agency fees. She only wants me to pay for the medical portion of it. Which really wouldn’t be too bad. But once the baby is born, how did you go about the birth certificate and all that?

Surrogate questions

Okay so I have been thinking about this since I lost my first baby last year and What I am thinking about is being a surrogate for a couple that is having a hard time conceiving. The reason I am thinking about this is because I struggled for 2 years to get pregnant with my first son and I know how upsetting , frustrating , and difficult it can be to conceive a child. I have a friend that has had more than 6 miscarriages and I know how much 2 miscarriages break you and to have more is just insane and heartbreaking. So this just pushes me to do it even more. Obviously i wouldn’t surrogate anytime soon considering as I’m pregnant right now with my second child and won’t be in great shape for a couple of years so I would want to work on that first but if anybody has surrogate information or has done privately or anything it would be a lot of help. I need to educate myself on this obviously and I am going to talk to my doctor and try and get more info and try internet searching as well. Thank you so much in advanced. ❤️

Can I be a surrogate for my best friend even though I haven't been pregnant before?

A few weeks ago, my best friend and her fiancé found out that they were pregnant after I think 3 years of trying. She has a few issues that affect her ability to carry (No issues conceiving though, which is good) and she's only got a limited time that she can still even have children because of other health issues. Today we just found out that she lost the baby. This will be her 10th miscarriage in 3 years... She and her fiancé are both devastated. We have been talking and looking into legal and medical options, so my boyfriend and I can help them. We want to do gestational surrogacy so that the baby will be biologically theirs. However, I have never had children before and I know many facilities require surrogates to have had at least one previous pregnancy with no complications. My boyfriend and I are not planning on having children for another 2 years. If I am doing this out of the good of my heart, and we are not asking any money from them, and I meet all the other requirements, will this still be an issue? We do meet all the other requirements. I've heard it's a lot easier to do it with less formalities like this, than to go through a program for finding a stranger surrogate and have payments involved, but I'd like advice from someone who has, or is going through this same thing! We love our friends dearly, and understand that this is a HUGE commitment, and know this is the right thing for us to do.
