Anyone else finding it hard to let go of their COVID baby?!
She's going to be starting preschool after the Easter holidays 😳 ...how the hell did that happen?Since she was born, we have spent SO much time together, I've had another baby since and been on maternity leave so we have been able to do all of the things we couldn't do when maternity leave was ruined in 2020 and everything was closed.I'm dreading her leaving me, I'll be the one crying at the gates...not her, she's little miss independent diva who is very excited to go to school like her big brother. She's going to run in there, with her bags of confidence and amazing personality and I'm going to be at home with her baby brother, without her 😭She's my middle child, I don't know about you guys, but the pandemic made our bond so strong and my COVID baby is my little shadow! How are you guys coping?

My March baby isn't going to be a big brother right now 😢
In February, I posted our Valentine's Day announcement that our March baby was going to be a big brother. We had an Easter gender reveal and found out we were having another boy. We were over the moon excited to give our son a little brother in October. Sadly, at our 20 week scan, our baby was diagnosed with a neural tube defect encephalocele and other facial abnormalities that weren't compatible with life. We had a D&E on June 3rd at 21W3D. We had a diagnostic test done and a carrier screening done on myself. Everything came back normal. We got our little baby's ashes back. Physically, I've made a full recovery. But my heart hurts so much. I miss my little baby pumpkin so much and so badly want to give my March baby a sibling at the same time.

Does anyone’s March baby have special needs?
My daughter has global developmental delay and epilepsy. She’s always been behind other kids her age development wise. She just turned two on the 15th but still can’t say any word and still doesn’t understand much of what we say to her. She can’t run, jump, sing, draw or dance either. It’s been very hard, stressful and disheartening to learn that she’s not developing normally like other children and she most likely will have life long learning difficulties/disabilities. It’s been very difficult to watch other kids grow and develop typically without comparing them to my own child. I wish more than anything that she too would develop as she should. I feel very isolated in this experience and feel as if I’m the only person going through this, although I’m pretty sure I’m not. If you also have a special needs child, especially if your child has developmental delay or seizures, I would love to talk and get to know you so we can support each other in this journey. Please feel free to email me at me.and.mylittlelion@gmail.com :)

Hitting
Our 2 yr old is getting into a hitting phase when he’s upset and it’s now been brought up by daycare. Anyone else dealing with this and how do you address the behavior? Has it worked for you?

My March baby is going to be a big brother!
Hi March mamas! I haven't posted on here in a while. But this past Wednesday, I found out I am pregnant with number 2! I'm so shocked and overjoyed! I can't believe my March baby is going to be a big brother! Here is the surprise we put together for daddy as an early Valentine's day present. My baby boy added the teddy bear himself. The onesie was his from last year. The box of chocolates had a special surprise inside 😁
