Hi guys, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell my story.

My miracle rainbow baby (and my first born) is turning 1 this Saturday!

I can’t believe a year has flown by so fast!

It took us almost 3 years to get pregnant.

We were unable to get pregnant naturally and decided to do IUI.

We got pregnant right away! Unfortunately I miscarried early on.

We did two more IUIs and I got pregnant and miscarried both pregnancies again.

This all happened back to back within a year.

We decided it was time to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist to help us with IVF.

That’s when I found out I was infertile due to my low-ovarian reserve and low egg quality. I was only 31 years old.

I was told I would need help to have a baby.

We did 3 rounds of IVF and when we had enough embryos, we did our first FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer).

We got pregnant on our first transfer!

On January 11, 2019, I finally had my long-awaited baby. He is our sweet rainbow after the storm.

In December, I had a weird feeling I may be pregnant. We weren’t trying but I was having symptoms. I took a pregnancy test and low and behold we are pregnant again! Naturally!

After being told I would never be able to get pregnant on my own, this is truly another miracle!

I’m still breastfeeding my son and plan on tandem breastfeeding once my second baby is born.

I’m feeling nervous but also super happy!

It will be great to have two kids so close in age. My son will be 19 months when baby #2 is born in mid-August.
