Got my BFP this morning 😊 at 13DPO.

A few details that may or may not be interesting.

Tracking: BBT & OPKs

Had a clear ovulation temps and implantation dip on my chart.

Had one day with a mostly positive OPK the day before ovulation.

BD Friday & Sunday, Ovulated Monday.

Symptoms: (started after 8DPO)

- Bloating

- Disrupted Sleep (multiple night wakings)

- Some vivid dreams

- Fatigue (which I thought was from disturbed sleep but is definitely more than that now). I started going to be waaay earlier than I normally would.

- Cramping 9dpo onwards

- Noticeable Increase in CM

- Lower backaches

- Constipated

- Last night I got the night sweats. Like soaked. It was gross. Apparently that’s a thing.

- Finally a high temp spike this morning followed by everything tasting really gross.

Took a test 8,9,10 DPO all negative. Took a much needed break from testing for a couple days as I just couldn’t handle the disappointment of more negatives.

Last night took an OPK after seeing another woman use one as a way to *potentially* identify a pregnancy (did some research, the chemical structure of LH and HCG are incredibly similar so LH tests can technically detect both), *sometimes* BLAZING positive OPKs can be a sign of pregnancy. I wasn’t ready for a potential negative HCG so I thought I’d test the waters and theory of the OPK — which was very positive. I left it for the night satisfied with that result. 😜

This morning (after the intense night sweats and gross taste situation) I did similar — did another OPK which came out dye stealer positive 👌🏻 so decided to upgrade to HCG lol and to my wonderful (and thankful) surprise it was positive. 😊

Can’t wait to see if it gets darker tomorrow! 🤞🏻
