My bf and I knew pretty early on that we were exceptionally good together and since we're a little older we know what we want and don't want to wait. He finally proposed💍! I'm so excited and happy. Since we had talked about our preferences and what we want out of life and a relationship at the beginning, we already knew we wanted to get married and have kids and buy land so that we could build our dream house and have lots of animals and build a self sustaining farm. since those discussions had been had prior to the proposal honey decided that I should pick out my own ring so that I get exactly what I want. So I told him what I wanted out of the ring. I picked out a few different options and one of them happen to be a significantly less expensive option than either of us had ever seen for an engagement ring, but it fit the criteria of what I wanted for my ring. I chose to go ahead and buy the inexpensive option that was close to what I wanted so that when he was ready to officially propose, he had the ring in hand. While I was looking at different jewelers and what they offered as far as products and pricing, I came across a jeweler that did custom jewelry. So I spoke to them about what I wanted gave them a few ideas and they came up with this fabulous idea and showed me basically what the concept would look like and I fell in love. They were basically telling me that they could create my dream ring, and it would be less expensive than going to most stores and buying an engagement ring. So of course I tell honey about both options and I don't know what I did to deserve this man or how much he takes care of me and loves me like I do him, but he told me he had already talked to and put a down payment on my ring that I wanted from the jeweler That he had already talked to the jeweler and put a down payment and then he told me that he had ordered the ring that I'm currently wearing off of a website and it's a lab grown diamond but real rose gold and it's beautiful. He wants me to use that as myspare ring basically like for when we go camping or if we're going somewhere that it might get damaged or lost or what have you that at least it wasn't gonna be my more expensive set. I love that my man wants to spoil me with nice things almost as much as he spoils me with his attention and his affection and his time. I cannot wait for the camping trip. We have planned in a couple of months because that's gonna be a few uninterrupted days and I couldn't think of somethingmore romantic and more suited to my personality than a camping trip with our children and the people we care about.
