Baby shower

So idk how to feel. My mom is having my shower next week and so far it seems like most guests are going to be busy and won't be able to show up. I have told my mom to cancel but she won't. I'm embarrassed to even show up or invite my close Co-worker/good friend because no one is going to show up. I know my mom is doing this with good intentions but if no one is going to show up what is the point of her wasting money. I'm just sad and embarrassed that no one is going.
