Did vitex work for you?

Does anyone have any vitex success stories?!

Here's my background-- 29yo with PCOS TTC for 15months with 3 failed fertility rounds

I take 1000mg of Metformin a day with no significant improvements.  I added vitex into my daily routine and within 4 days, AF finally comes to town after a 64day cycle.

I'm feeling very positive and hoping there is light at the end of the tunnel.  Fingers crossed that this will be our year!

It work for me my first month trying! The first month I took double the dose(4 pills) so it could build up in my system faster... Then the second month when I started trying I just took the regular dose (2 pills). I also took the liquid filled capsules that are more potent! I got my BFP yesterday 12 DPO! ☺ GOOD LUCK!

The first month TTC I took maca, prenatal vitamins and used yes baby a personal lubricant like preseed but with no parabens (I'm sensitive 'down there' haha), no luck. TTC round two, I took vitex tea, B6, maca, prenatal vitamin, and used Yes Baby, and got my BFP at 16DPO!! I really believe it's down to the B6 and vitex tea, my luteal phase was super short before and now I'm 5w2days and I'm hoping to have a healthy 9 months!

I started taking vitex and maca after my first iui didn't take. I was already on 1000mg metformin.  I got pregnant within a month naturally 😊 good luck!

I started taking vitex and maca 3months before I got pregnant. Unfortunately had a miscarriage. It was at that time I was told I had PCOS. So I added myoinositol and spearmint tea and got pregnant again shortly after we started trying again. Now 36+5.

Do not use vitex if you have PCOS - it will make your cycles longer rather than regulate them. It should only be used for short cycles where the progesterone phase isn't well established. (I study herbal medicine). Use licorice as it promotes estrogen, or spearmint as it helps to stop the testosterone overload
