Do you get jealous of the past?

Mainly pertaining to your past/ his past, exes, situations etc

I do because we've only been together a year or so and we didn't know each other much longer than that and I just wish I would have been able be with him for all the memories he tells me about, but instead when he brings up old things he'll be like "About *this amount of time ago* when I was with/dating *name*..." and then he tells me the story. I don't get angry over this but I do get jealous because of all the time I wasn't in his life where I wish I was.
