Im having a c section june 24th and im wondering should i put the play pen with bassinet in my room for the first few weeks or just put her straight into her own room? When i had my son he had to share a room with me the whole time bc i lived with family

I had a c- section with my twins .. But I would say it depends on how u feel when u go home.. For me I had to have their playpen next to my bed cause it made things easier for me but by a week I put them into there own room cause I was doing a whole lot better.. And could jump up fast if I heard them cry

That's my b-day! :-) hope all goes well..the less you have to move around after surgery, the easier it will be for you. Put as much as you can within arms reach.

I've had previous c-section and for the first couple of weeks you will want to take it easy.  I would put the baby in room with you first and then after a couple of weeks transition to their own room.

Especially with healing from a c-section, you're not going to want to move a ton to get your baby. I would keep them as close as possible, even bedding in with you.
