Car Seat Inspection?

Do you have to have your car seat inspected for proper installation? My husband and I are having a hard time finding a place and time that will work for us and baby is due in one week!!

Your local fire department can help you install your car seat! :) or just go in YouTube and watch them install it! :)

The hospital will check it before they release you & baby. Ours won't let us leave until one of the nurses does an inspection :)

Local fire departments usually offer it. My cousin is actually a fireman at the firehouse 30 seconds from my place lol he came over and checked our for us and set it up so it was done right :) typically you would have to go to the fire department but he's family so he did a house call lmfao (he's over protective !!)

Some hospitals do and some don't. Just follow the manuals directions on how to install then grab the belt path and pull and if it moves less than an inch side to side then. It's good.

You don't have to, but it's highly recommended. When we had our inspected we learned that we had it installed correctly, it was just not pulled tight enough on the clips. So something as small as that could be off.

We did. I had a hard time finding a place too. A lot of fire departments do it. That's where I ended up going and the fire chief spent almost an hour W me going over everything! I felt to was worth it just for peace of mind that I had everything installed correctly. Our hospital also has classes while I was in there but I really didn't feel like going to that right after I had the baby.
