What are your methods for getting rid of a cold?

Cut an onion in half and put it on the soles of your feet. Put socks over them. Then put a cut onion on the counter. I had a really bad cold and I did this and the next day my cold was almost gone. (Don't use the onion after it's been on the counter)

Really weird but I had read recently about putting 5 drops of hydrogen peroxide in each ear (one at a time) and letting it sit for 10 minutes at the onset of symptoms.

My whole household just got over the flu/cold after almost 2 weeks.  We use essential oils and tylenol for fevers above 101.  My husband uses aleve cold & sinus and swears by it....but I'm pregnant so all I could have was tylenol and robitussin and lots of rest (along with essential oils).  My kids bounced back easily and my husband did well....but it took me longer and I lost my voice for a week.

Lots of water, vitamin C, i think someone told me grape juice once. Just know its a cold and they pretty much just have to run their course and you just provide things to your body to help speed that along.
