Trying to get pregnant

Wasn't sure how to word this or what to write as its my first post. Boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant and although it's only been a month of trying, I was wondering what's the best way or what helps most. Done a couple of tests, mainly because my period last month was so late, but each time it says no it's so disheartening. I know some people have to try for so long before it finally happens but was wondering if anything could help. Tried during my most fertile days and still nothing, boyfriend gets a little down thinking it's his fault 😞
