Safe to try after d&c, before first period?

I am sure this is somewhere, I just cannot find it. My doctor wants me to wait 2 cycles, but we are just so ready to have our healthy baby in our arms. Any thoughts to this and success? Or is it better to just wait it out?

I found that it was better to wait. We were told 1 cycle after both miscarriages. Because the rebuilding of the uterus is important. Each dr tells their patient how long to wait based on their opinion of what's healthy for them. With that being said there are women who have gotten pregnant immediately and had successful pregnancies. Honestly if you feel your body is ready and mentally/emotionally you are ready no one can stop you from going for it.
