LMP can anyone explain how they predict EDD?

So I started my last cycle on 2/19. I'm not sure when I ovulated because we weren't using kits this month but I do know when we BD and I am aware of when I was having fertile cm. So, does anyone know how they figure out when u got pregnant based on that last cycle? I know we didn't BD until 4 days after my period started and only 2 times when I was having EWCM.

Nurse said edd was 11/25. I was just interested in how they figure.

They will use your lmp and count 40 weeks. Although you may not have conceived exactly 2 weeks in (typical frame for ovulation with a 28 day cycle) they use the same guidelines with everyone. 
Your EDD would be around 11/18

From your LMP DATE, add 7 days, subtract 3 months. So you would add 7 to 19 to get 26 and 2-3 to get back to November.  11/26/16 would be your EDD.

Because everyone's cycle is different, they use the first day of your lmp until your first u/s. Even if you had sex once, it can take days for conception, so it's not totally accurate.
