How much is a reasonable price for babysitting a one year old child 8 hours a day for one week?

I charge $10/hr per child for the first 2 and $7/hr for each additional. I am also CPR certified for the professional rescuer with AED and I have all my clearances and I renew them every 2 years when I renew my CPR.

Lol. I guess I must be "over priced". I wouldn't charge less that $16-$17 per hour for babysitting any child under 5 yrs old. And over 5 yrs, I would only knock a dollar off. I live in California.

I'm in Alberta and when I was 14-18 I charged $10-15 per family. Family's with more kids was on the higher side so. Also if I was spending the night it would be the same cost but I would add an extra $10 for staying the whole night.

I would say it depends on who is babysitting. When I was 16-19 and used to babysit my neighbours kids it was £5ph but if it was a 8hr day we would normally do it a bit less so £30 for example. Especially if it was multiple occasions.
