I'm getting induced this Sunday because my midwife is concerned about the size of my baby. His shoulders and chest is bigger than his head and she's afraid if he gets any bigger he will get stuck coming out and I will have to go for a C-section. She wants to induce me at 39 weeks to avoid complications and a C-section. He is already 8.11 pounds at 38 weeks. I know ultrasounds are not 100% accurate with weight hopefully he's less than that and there's no complications. What are your thoughts of being induced? If you've been induced how was your experience and was it painful?
