How do you make your child stop eating her/his nails?

Try rubbing a piece of raw garlic or raw onion in her nails. It's stinky but might work..... That's what my aunt did to herself to stop eating her nails. Good luck!

We used a product called thum. It had spices in it and he only put his hand in his mouth once and remembered how bad it was. He did ask a lot to wash it off. So when he had the urge to bite his nails he would tell me and we would color or play a game instead.

Maybe try and find out what made them start biting their nails. Alot of people do that as a coping mechanism, maybe your child is worried about something.
