Problems ...

Okay so my friend just told me about this birth control thing where it makes you get your period every three months and a lighter flo and helps reduce acne and we are going on vacay for a month and a half and I have never used a tampon and I'm kind of scared to but anyway she said I should ask my mom to take me to the doctor and tell them that I have heavy flows (which I do) and bad acne (which I do) and I'm just kind of scared to bring up the whole birth control thing even tho I not having sex and stuff like that but she might think that I am if I ask and I just don't know how to bring it up to her any suggestions. They would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
