Recommended birth control?

Im currently on the shot, Depo. However I am looking to switch but I'm not sure what to. What are your opinions, and what do you recommend? I know everyone is different so whatever is brought up I'll do research on. Thanks in advance. (:

I had an Implanon implant for 5 years, not sure how it's different to the one listed but it was fab! Irregular periods was the only down side, but one of the very safest in terms of effectiveness, which was so important to me at the time as I had gotten pregnant with a copper IUD - far more common than you might think!!!! Worse than that, it caused me to miscarry, and not until 5 months. Mirena is different because of the hormonal content. But the implant is statistically the safest! By far... 
Plus, unlike the shot, when it's removed it's gone out of your body - no problems for years of not having a period or being able to conceive, like people I know after stoppingthe  injection. I haven't tried to conceive, but my periods and cycle returned immediately and I love them now after missing them for so long! But I also loved 5 years hastle free and safe contraception too. Now I use Fertility Awareness method. Good luck!

If you don't remember well I wouldn't go on the pill. I am so bad at remembering to take them that I've gone days without it.

I switched from Depo to Mirena IUD recently. It hurt really bad that day, I cramped for a couple more, and that was it. The only downside is that I now get periods, but I am protected for 5 years and don't have to do anything.

Recommended birth control?
