I just had my baby boy 5 days ago and when he was born he had something called tachycardia and was in the nursery for 3 days. The nurses told me it was extremely common. He was discharged and went home with me 2 days ago and the tachycardia was resolved. However he does have a heart murmur, the doctors said it could be an innocent heart murmur but to make sure have given him an ekg and are making a follow up appointment with a pediatric cardiologist. Has anyone else's babies/kids had a heart murmur and it has been nothing? I'm a FTM so I'm dealing with the new mom worrying thing and this is killing me!
