Labor and delivery just make have this baby!

Been feeling crampy and awful all day so my dr told me to go to labor and delivery to be monitored. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow. I get here and baby starts being super active when she wasn't moving around all day. They say I'm not having contractions and only dilated to a 2. Their going to send me home I know it. Can't I just stay and have this baby. I'm almost 39 weeks. This is just me complaining. So ready to have this little girl in my arms.
