Could my water have broken??

Question

Yesterday when I went to the bathroom I saw an excess of fluid. It was  watery and since then I've had cramping and pressure and lower back pain. Maybe it just a coincidence but what are the odds that my water may have broken??

My doctor said I peed my pants lol. I feel dumb. The other symptoms were just a coincidence. Baby got to play his first April Fools pranks. Haha.

I would head directly to my OBs office, just show up and tell them what happened. A quick swab and exam will shed some light on what's going on.

I went to my OB today for watery discharge. I wanted to make sure I wasn't leaking fluid too. It ended up being fine and doc thought it was just normal pregnancy discharge, but I'm glad I went! I would definitely call your doc to see what they say. My doc wanted to see me right away when I told them what was going on with me. Better safe than sorry!! Remember, the advice on here is awesome and it's great to have someone else to talk to, but this app is not meant to replace your doc.

You continue to leak after your water breaks. When in doubt squat down and cough. If nothing comes out your water didn't break.

I have those PH test strips for pools. I bought them to test at home if my water had broken with my last pregnancy. I'd go to the ob but purchase them for next time.

Put a pad in your underwear and walk around for about 10 15 mins. If it's soaked or wet it your water and go right to the ER! But I would def call your doc too just to be safe so they are aware of what's going on!

I don't know the answer,  but I would certainly encourage you to contact your doctor.  Just to be safe.
