Post-sex depression?

The last time I had sex, I was kind of in a funk for about 45 minutes or so. The sex was kind of rushed (we attempted a quickie) we skipped foreplay and I didn't orgasm and neither did he. My period was light at first and then we looked and it was really heavy and once he saw the blood he went soft, so we just stopped because I could see he was turned off. He's not grossed out by it, he says he's fascinated by it and understands it's a womanly thing but it doesn't turn him on. Idk if it was that that made me a little sad or if it was because I didn't cum. Any thoughts?
