So my brother was dating this girl for 3 months and then she got pregnant. Well she supposedly cheated on him but did not inform him of this until they broke up because she mistreated him, which is an even longer story. Well now she goes back and forth saying one week it's his and the next week saying he needs to leave her alone because it's not his. This is a very shortened version of the story but now my brother is trying to get a lawyer so that once the baby is born she can't sign or do anything without a paternity test. Would it be wrong for him to start a GoFundMe for the expense of a lawyer? I don't want people to think he can't afford to support a child because he is asking for help with the lawyer. Then at the same time she has put him in this situation where he has been trying to be apart of the baby's life, for the baby and she won't let him.
