Only 14 and a half weeks left ??!

Question

I know I've still got time before baby comes (hopefully) but I just want to be prepared.. What are some signs that I am in labor? Or things I should be on the look out for? Thanks in advance!

The morning I went into labor contractions work me up around 4 AM. They felt like period cramps. Not really painful, just strong enough to wake me up. I was too excited to go back to sleep so I sat in the tub for an hour. The contractions were about every 11-15 mins, lasting 30 seconds or so. My midwife said to call her when they were 4-1-1, meaning 4 minutes apart, at least a minute long, and had been consistent like that for an hour. So I was a long way off. After being awake for an hour I became savagely hungry. I went into the kitchen and devoured some leftovers, then got really anxious. I cleaned the kitchen, did some laundry...I couldn't sit still. I ended up making some red raspberry leaf tea and walking around the block a few times. That made my contractions a little stronger, to where I'd have to stop walking and bend over and take deep breaths through them (still, not "painful" just stronger) then I'd go on walking. They got closer together as I walked but only about 7-10 mins, and still 30 seconds long. They didn't get 4-1-1 until that evening around 5 PM.

We did the Bradley Method for childbirth. They have a chart about labor. This chart really helped me identify the different stages of labor. Contractions just feel like period cramps. If you've ever laid on the couch feeling your uterus cramp over and over then you already know a lot about what to expect.

Right before my water broke last time, the palms of my hands got reallllly red and itchy. Twenty minutes later or so we were on our way to L&D

More common is steady contractions, I've heard 3-5 mins apart, also heard 5-10 mins apart. Water breaking. Lower back pain. Contractions are not always painful to begin with. I'm sure there's plenty more, this is all I could think of at the moment

I literally couldn't walk or talk lol the pain was so bad but that was with my second and the labor was maybe 20 minute long, had her in my car..
